For the last few weeks, we've been attacking the large pile of interior and body parts, cleaning and restoring what we can and tracking down replacements for what we can't. The body itself is also in the shop, and we're starting to get it ready for paint. We have to replace a few of the body mounts and make some minor repairs to the fiberglass, but all in all the old body is in pretty good shape. We hope to have it ready for paint within the next 2 to 3 weeks. During that time, we'll also be tying up some loose ends on the engine (such as finding the correct distributor and getting all of the ignition shielding installed). The rebuilt carburetor is still performing well, and the engine is running great. We'll put up some pictures of the body and the engine in the next update. For now, here's a few pics of the interior pieces we've been working on.
